On Tuesday, 7 February 2023, we will celebrate the 20th edition of Safer Internet Day (SID), with brief education whiles we await for our three day discussion to begin on the 10th of February. With a theme, once again, of “Together for a better internet”, we have organized a three Friday discussion. Starting with a discussion on Social Media from the founder, Desmond Kitsi from Genius I.T Foundation, Ho on February 10, 2023. Then, we will continue with a discussion on Cybersecurity from the Managing Director, Courage Asase from Node 8 (formally Ho Node) on Friday, February 17, 2023. Finally, we will close on Friday, February 24, 2023 with our very own Ben and Sam discussing Emerging Online Issues, where we will discuss various issues we find online and Human Rights.
Students from schools across Ho Municipality are expected to attend, along with their parents and teachers. If you would like to attend, we will have Zoom available for you to join us.
